My Snappy Trip

Day one

On day one we came to cardigan. We went on a hike to welton falls and saw a cellar hole. This was an example of Human Environment Interaction because humans dug into the ground and made a house. We also saw a rock that was painted by people, making it HEI. We also saw a mug in a tree. These are all examples of HEI. We found this rock, called a wish rock, that had a ring around it. It was a different rock than the one that was painted, though. We all decided we would make a wish and throw it in to the water together, as a group. That was when I Realized I had a pretty cool group. When we got to the falls, I showed everyone a cave that they had missed. It had a great veiw of the falls, and was overlooking the water. We all got in the water and waded to a rock, that we named the gathering rock. We all sketched it, and our chaperones took pictures. It was pretty cool. We went back up the trail, and Brice found some mint leaves. I tried one, and so did Tayla and Jen. When we got back to the lodge we dispersed into our friend groups. It was an overall great day.
